The first computer that I ever owned was a Dell Inspiron tower computer with a CRT monitor, that my mother bought for me in 1999. It had Windows ME (Millennium Edition) as the operating system, a floppy disk drive and a CD-Rom drive. I used that computer for school work, using programs such as Word, Excel, and my personal favorite Microsoft Encarta. When I was done with my homework, I would play games on it, such as Carmen Sandiego, Microsoft Solitaire and others. It lasted me until I graduated from high school in 2005, and I got a laptop for use while I was in college.
