I am so looking forward to getting past the incoming polar vortex, and getting back to my outdoor workouts. In the mean time I will be using some of the apps on my phone to help with my workouts until the weather warms up. I have also used this time to figure out my next fitness events.
Speaking of fitness events, I will be making an announcement on this year’s Pelotonia next Friday, and will begin preparations as soon as the weather warms up a little. In the meantime, I have signed up for my next 5K: The Spring Into Kindness Virtual 5K benefiting Autism Speaks that will take place on March 20. I will be launching a fundraiser on Facebook shortly.
One more thing, I recently got word that the Capital City Half Marathon has gone virtual again this year. As of right now this will not affect my plans to run the Commit to be Fit 5K virtually in April.
