It has been a few days since I posted anything here on the blog, but rest assured that I have been plenty busy since I last checked in on the blog. First up, I will likely make a decision about my next virtual fitness event by the end of the day tomorrow, and will start running that event on Monday. I will reveal what I will do here on the blog and on social media what I plan to do as soon as I make the decision.
There are a couple of other wellness things that I am working on right now. The first thing that I am currently working on is improving my mental health. I have recently downloaded a couple of apps on to my phone (Calm and Headspace) that I am using to help me manage my anxiety. I have begun taking a 30 day introduction to meditation course on Calm, and I have started to notice an improvement on how I am managing my anxiety.
The other thing that I am currently working on is getting my upper back and shoulders straightened back out. I admit that I have had some problems here recently (including dealing with my insurance). The good news here is that I have something on the way to hopefully help me manage my back problems here at home (I still plan on seeing the chiropractor once a month, but I was looking for something to use at home between appointments.) I am going to try a foam roller with a built in vibrator to help relieve some of my back pain.
