If there is anything that I have learned about running in winter, is to be ready for anything, including the wildly unpredictable weather here in Columbus. To that end, thanks to my retail job, I now have enough cold weather gear to keep going, while getting rid of old, unused or gear that no longer fits (more on that later.)

In any event, I am pleased to report that I have made significant progress in my current event, The Columbus Blue Jackets Virtual 20K. As of this post, I have 9.1 km left to run (or about 5.66 miles). Weather permitting, I plan to finish this event by the end of the day on Tuesday.

This event is a one-time event, being held as part of the Blue Jackets 20th anniversary celebration. I still plan on running the 5th Line 5K, whenever that occurs.
