Lessons Learned From Writing My Blog

When I restarted this blog back in June, I set out to document life from my perspective. I have to admit that there were a few bumps on the road along the way, but it has exceeded my expectations as well. While I had concieved this blog as a general blog, the posts that have been well recieved so far are in the health and fitness catagory and the posts that document my weight loss journey

The biggest lesson that I have learned so far is that I am doing a much better job of holding myself accountable. I admit I have not done the best job in the personal accountabillity department, and I still have some room for improvement in that department. After a rough patch in the late Summer/early Fall, I have made significant progress in terms of getting my problems under control, and holding myself accountable if any slip ups occur.

While in the process of composing the posts for the blog, I have rediscovered that I am a much better written communicator, than I am a verbal communicator (more on that when I finally start writing the posts on my battle with autism.) I have always found myself to be an excellent writer, going back to my days in school. This blog has allowed me to become a better communicator.
