My Pelotonia Update for 9/8


I regret to inform everyone that I have hit a couple of setbacks over the weekend, so there will be no My Pelotonia updates for the moment. What happened was that I had some major joint discomfort after I got home from work on Saturday. I ran in to more problems on Sunday, when I went to pull my bike out of the garage, only to discover that my front tire had gone completely flat. A closer inspection revealed that the side walls on my tires are starting to crack, meaning that the tires will have to be replaced. Unfortunately, I have run into problems in terms of getting the parts that I need (due to demand), so I will be extending the deadline for my goals through November 15.

In the meantime, I intend to take full advantage of some of the other workout options at my disposal (namely by using the Nike Training Club app.) Due to the problems that I am having, I have decided to cancel the mass release of my virtual event schedule for the remainder of the year. I know that this is a setback, but my hope is that I will be back soon, and stronger than ever.
