First off, had a very good day at work today (how often have I said this during the last few weeks). Hope to keep up the momentum going in to Ohio’s tax free weekend. I have to admit the cycle of falling behind and catching up (and repeating after setback) was starting to get old.
As for some of the other projects at home, unfortunately got postponed again (this time due to weather.) However, some things are finally going to get done around her in the next few days (including stump removal and getting our driveway resealed.) Hopefully by the end of next week, I will finally have finished re-staining the deck.
I did manage to finally finish ‘The Devil in the White City’ and have begun reading the novel based upon the movie “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” While the Summer Reading Challenge at the Columbus Library ends on Sunday, I will keep my personal challenge going until my birthday in September. After that, I will be posting my thoughts on some of my favorite books under a new category.
As far as Pelotonia is concerned, the pieces are falling into place rather nicely, and that I am all set up to start tracking my goals on Monday. Stay tuned to this blog for further updates as I get this initiative underway.
Finally, for the first time since since I rebooted this blog, I have a Blue Jackets game to look forward to, and I might watch when I get back from a rainy walk. Don’t expect any thing on social media though (I’m still under my self-imposed quarantine until later this year.)
