Finding Clarity (in the Middle of a Global Pandemic)

I have a confession to make, that the current global pandemic has exposed some serious personal issues with me. Between work and at home, I have not done as good of a job of managing my stress and my emotions as I have had in the past. I first noticed problems in early June, and tried to get things in order, to no success. After a couple of close calls at work, I made the decision to suspend my social media use indefinitely, and things improved for a few days. Instead, things went from bad to worse at work, and that in turn lead to a few problems at home around the 4th of July.

When I finally hit rock bottom earlier this week, I locked my self in my bedroom, and began to figure things out. One of the first things that changed was my diet. I began making my own fruit smoothies while I was on breaks and lunches. The other changes that I have made were reducing how much I eat on daily basis (this is a work in progress) and reintroduced Slim Fast to my diet.

Some of the other things that I have done include spending some time with my puppy, and getting a few things done at home. There are more changes that I plan to implement over the next few weeks to hopefully cut some of my stress down a bit.

I finish this post with a little advice for anyone who is going through a difficult time right now and that is stay positive. Right now things are rough in the world, but if you stay positive, it will be easier to overcome any situation.
