Earlier today, I spent the day at the Columbus Zoo with my family (and yes, all three of us were wearing face masks.) You will start to see some pictures on the blog once I get them processed in Lightroom.

Now on to my Summer Reading Challenge, I am pleased to announce that the first book that I plan to read for my summer reading program will be……

The Devil in the White City

This book, written by Erik Larsen, tells the story of a series of murders that occurred during the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. I will detail what I read in a later blog post. On a side note, I visited one of the surviving structures of this exposition while on a trip to Chicago back in 2002. It was the Palace of Fine Arts building, now the home of The Museum of Science and Industry.
